Overcoming language barriers, the project successfully reached 500 beneficiaries through workshops and training sessions in various locations like Baddi (Himachal Pradesh), Haridwar (Uttarakhand), Gagret (Himachal Pradesh) and Hosur (Tamil Nadu).
The project's language barrier highlights included using multilingual training material, conducting language-specific workshops for trainers, and collaborating with local organizations and community members as interpreters.
The dedicated team of educators, including Mrs. Indu Sharma, Mrs. Rajmani Pathak, Mrs. Simple Gulati, Ms. Niranjana, Ms. Manjula, Mrs Namita Bhura & Ms Rikita Narula played a crucial role in disseminating valuable information on menstrual health, reproductive health, adolescent hygiene, gender inclusivity, understanding sex and gender, safe online practices, and preventing abuse and harassment.
The initiative also provided MHM books, 5 P pouches, and incorporated theme-based activities to sensitize the children.
