On 27th November 2017, as a part of the ‘India Needs daughters’ campaign by Sharda University in association with Milaan Foundation amongst notable speakers such as Mrs. Swati Maliwal and Mrs. Richa Anirudh, Dr. Surbhi Singh was invited to speak on Menstrual health and the stigma that surrounds the process of menstruation.
Approximately 300 journalism students including boys keenly participated in the session given by Dr. Surbhi Singh and understood the importance of normalizing periods in order to have an equal society.
