To dignify the process of menstruation,Sachhi Saheli started an online campaign called “Red Spot Campaign”. The Red spot was a nationwide online movement which was designed to promote Menstrual health awareness day, for which Sachhi Saheli team appealed people to post a picture of themselves with a bold Red mark on the backside of their hands. the ‘Red spot’ was actually a symbolic representation of “Menstruation” to describe it as a matter of strength, life and a boon on which all women should feel proud.

The campaign was launched on Menstrual health awareness day (5th February 2020). and went on till one week, it was celebrated in many of the schools and colleges of delhi, such as Hansraj College, Ramanujan College, DU, Lady Shri Ram College, IIITD, Dayal Singh College, Deshbandhu College,Sanjeevani Nursing College, Chiplun (Konkan) and other colleges.

Interestingly very soon it become viral on social media and within a week many institutions, NGOs, schools, and individuals joined this movement and posted their pictures on their own social media handles.

this campaign was not only limited to India, but alsomany Indian and foreign nationals present in countries such as South Africa, USA, Europe, participated in the Red Spot Campaign and posted pictures and solidarity messages in their own unique styles.
