Unrelenting in its spread, the Covid-19 pandemic has thrown the livelihoods of lakhs into a chaotic twister. Daily wagers, footpath vendors, migrant laborers, domestic helpers have all had their only source of income snuffed out due to the lockdown. Not just monetarily, these people have been deprived of food and basic necessities. People are hungry, starving and some are even homeless.

Intrigued by the helplessness and starvation of the people suffering not by the disease but its paradox, Sachhi Saheli started an initiative to help the vulnerable groups in various areas of Delhi by providing them with Ration kits (Basic food necessities) during the lockdown.

Ensuring the lockdown rules were followed and to enable our reach to the maximum in need, we took the fight to our volunteers across the city. The volunteer efforts successfully helped us to reach maximum people all across the city.
