Sachhi Saheli’s journey begun with a self-sponsored School Sensitization Program called “Swara”. Project Sawra is actually an initiative to provide school students a platform where they can speak freely about their concerns, under this program Sachhi Saheli conducts awareness sessions in schools and inspire students with its unique punchline - “tu bolegi muh kholegi tabhi jamana badlega”.

In the year 2017-2018, under Project Swara, the comprehensive Menstrual knowledge was delivered through more than 150 workshops for 40,000 students in the 23 Delhi Government schools along with NDMC and EDMC schools and other private educational institutions.

Initially, the Swara workshops were held for only girl students but eventually Sachhi Saheli team began conducting these workshops for both boys and girls together. These workshops proved to be path breaking as it was realized upon interaction with the boys that they are expected to learn to respect girls but are always kept oblivious of what they go through. In these workshops, the boys often get emotional as they realize the position of their fellow female classmates and apologize to them for subjecting them to teasing etc.
