“Protsahan ”means to Encourage. The project Protsahan was conceptualized with this view of encouraging people and communities to change the long-standing customs and taboos that surround around menstruation and menstruating women. The project is an effort to sensitize menstruating women and girls to deal with this very natural and biological process in a healthy, efficient, and dignified manner. Efforts are being made through this project to bring about a change in the behavioural pattern in communities and established mindsets. Sachhi Saheli collaborated with the largest PSU bank of the country SBI toinstall Sanitary pad vending machines and incinerator machines in 5 different locations in Delhi under their CSR initiatives.

• 1. 1st set of machines was installed in Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women on 29 th November 2021.
• 2. The 2nd set of Machines was installed in Public toilet complex in Nardan Basti in Sangam Vihar on 24th December 2021.
• 3. The 3rd set of Machines was installed in Lakshya Society, D-150, Phase II, Qutub Vihar, New Delhi on 6th January 2022.
• 4. The 4th set of Machines was installed in Kasturba Gandhi Ashram for girls in Bakhtawarpur on 7th January 2022.
• 5. The 5th set of Machines was installed in SDM’s office in Geeta Colony in East Delhi on 19th January 2022.
