On the 22nd of November, 2019 Sachhi Saheli conducted an awareness workshop in Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre, where Dr Surbhi Singh and Ms. Rachna Sudheen were there as resource persons. Prayas works to restore the lost childhood of neglected, street and working children and the marginalized. It visualizes a world that protects children’s rights. A world that treats every child equally and lets boys and girls play and learn, and grow to adult hood in health, peace and dignity. Since our visions are very much at par with each other, we were happy to be conducting the workshop.
Beneficiaries- Approximately 50 people were present for the session, which included boys in the age group of 14+ years and above, some girls and some male staff.
On the account of International Women’s Day, PrayasHairsplitters Club in collaboration with Sachhi Saheli, organised an interactive session on ‘Issues of molestation & sexual harassment at home and office’ at Prayas JAC Society, Tughlakabad. The audience consisted of juvenile children, females, and members of Prayas. The speaker of the session was Dr. Surbhi Singh (Gynaecologist and founder—Sachhi Saheli).
