Project UDAYA 2.0, a collaborative initiative by Jindal Stainless Foundation and Sachhi Saheli, made a remarkable impact in the Hisar district of Haryana. The project focused on promoting menstrual hygiene and adolescent health awareness in five schools, engaging approximately 5228 students and 140 teachers.

The project team conducted insightful training sessions and distributed informative booklets and 5-pouches to students, empowering them with knowledge and dispelling myths about menstrual health.

A highlight of Project UDAYA 2.0 was the engaging Bal/Balika manch activity, where trained mentors organized interactive sessions, fostering open discussions about menstruation and adolescent health.

A key milestone was the Training of Trainers (TOT) session in September, equipping 33 teachers with accurate information and communication skills to create a safe environment for students to discuss these vital topics.

The workshop was attended by prominent individuals, including representatives from Jindal Stainless Foundation and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, who appreciated Sachhi Saheli's dedication to driving positive change.

Project UDAYA 2.0 demonstrated unwavering commitment to empower the community, leaving a lasting impact in the Hisar district through its collaborative efforts and transformative initiatives.
