It is often taken for granted that a University student would have substantial knowledge about their bodies and menstruation. However, in an ideal world this may have been the case but in a society where discussions around menstruation are so stigmatized the correct knowledge is also compromised even for a university level student.

Therefore, to fill the gap Sachhi Saheli team on invitation by Amity University conducted a Menstrual Awareness workshop for approximately 400 of their M.Phil. and M.A. students on 5th October 2017 and the students reported that they learnt and discovered through the session several facts about the process of menstruation and about their own bodies.

They pledged to take this information further and spread it as much as possible for the benefit of their peers and family.
